Once in a life time is enough
Nothing nearby, no shop, no mkt except ski area
Cozy ambient, friendly people, clean room
cozy, friendly and inviting hotel giving a real taste of Swiss history and tradition.
The hotel was charming and very traditional. The host was lovely she has obviously been working there for years we got a real taste of Switzerland while we were there.
Warm welcome, just OK stay.
Pasta for dinner was awful, made in advance & warmed up in microwave. Elderly Lady owner did apologise.
Good breakfast, beds comfy & linen good. Towels small but OK.
Charming traditional mountain inn with wonderful staff
The owner was very hospitable and greeted us several times during our stay. She was born in this charming traditional inn and is a passionate active owner still to this day. The restaurant was a special treat with many typical Swiss mountain dishes. All the staff were also very helpful and friendly. This is an historic inn with traditional design downstairs and in the rooms. If you want a special mountain experience with warm friendly staff in a charming setting, this is a great choice for you.

Comfortable and good location - one night stat
Cosy, comfortable and welcoming Hotel Sonne
Cosy, comfortable and welcoming
The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Hotel Sonne is a traditional chalet style building, very warm and cosy - even in August!
Location is great.
Good location, clean room but overpriced off-season
I felt transported back to the 1970's in the room. There´s nostalgic decor and then there´s dated decor. This was dated. Way overpriced for off-season booking.
Very nice staff, good location and good breakfast. Very clean room.
excellent place to stay for a few nights
a typical traditional swiss hotel accomodation, cosy, romantic & lovely, right in the center of Andermatt, friendly staff who makes you feel welcome instantly
Very old fashioned (in a bad way).
Nice building, room was ugly tho. Breakfast was included in the price and was not that bad.
